Dog-Friendly Stays at Drovers Retreat
“If you want tranquility, nature, seclusion and peace - this is the place for you!
Everything you need or want is here. Carolyn and Bob are great hosts - there if you need them, but otherwise you would never know they are there, far over the other side of the property.
This is a very highly recommended property for a very relaxing break.”

A countryside break your dog can enjoy too

What is provided for dogs at Drovers Retreat?
To help make your stay simpler, we provide complimentary pet beds, bowls and leads for your visit. Your dog will also receive welcome dog biscuits and a complimentary Wild Rag to wear during their stay.
These little extras mean there is less to bring with you and a warmer welcome from the moment you arrive.
Woodland and walks from the door
Dogs need a holiday too, and Drovers Retreat gives them space to sniff, explore and enjoy the great outdoors. Our private woodland offers somewhere special to discover together, while self-guided walks from the front door make it easy to get out into the surrounding countryside without getting back in the car.
Please keep an eye out for the wildlife that shares this beautiful part of Wales.
Our dog-friendly house rules
We welcome well-behaved dogs and ask that they stay off the beds and furniture during your visit. Dogs must also be kept on a lead outside the property, in line with local regulations and to help protect nearby wildlife and livestock.
Thank you for helping us keep Drovers Retreat enjoyable for every guest, on two legs and four.
